Wat Trangkaphum Phuttawat Formerly known as Wat Kantang Built as a temple in Kantang city in 1893 when moving the city from Khuan Thani Subdistrict to Kantang Subdistrict in 1912 gave a new name to Wat Trangkaphum Phutthawat.
     
When the temple was built, Phraya Ratsada brought a marble Buddha image from Burma. become a monk The villagers called Luang Por Khao, later painted gold over the Buddha image. And add Ketumala as a flame in the style of Thai Buddha images. In 1991, there was a restoration and polishing the gold that the Buddha image returned to the white of the marble as before.
 
Trangkaphum Phuttawat Temple It is enshrined of a marble Buddha image. summoned from Burma since the creation of Kantang and is considered the largest marble Buddha image in Trang.
 
How to get there: 308 Ban Kantang, Kantang Subdistrict, Kantang District, take Highway No. 403 Trang-Kantang on the left hand side about 1 km before reaching Kantang town, opposite the first rubber tree.
