Wat Phu Khao Kaew on the hill Inside the temple there is a beautiful ordination hall. decorated with glazed tiles throughout It is a form of Thai art. The roof is a four-tiered porch-less structure, the front and back are covered with terracotta tiles decorated with bouquets of blue flowers, rooster leaves, and swan tails. The middle of the roof is decorated with the top of the Golden Castle.
Gable etched stucco with graceful Kan Khod pattern in harmony with the lotus pillars made in Indian art style. Inside the Ubosot is decorated with high relief images above the doors and windows, showing stories and reproductions about important relics of Thailand, as well as briefly telling the history of each relic. In addition, the ground floor of the Ubosot is also used as a pavilion.
To get there, take Highway No. 217, 44 kilometers from the city of Ubon Ratchathani, about 1 kilometer before reaching Phibun Mangsahan District.
