Wat Khao Pratu Chumphon Ban Rai, Thep Sathit, Chaiyaphum. Wat Khao Pratu Chumphon is beautiful and quiet, suitable for the practice of dharma, a recreation, or even a tranquil stroll among fresh air. The temple has lodgings and a kitchen which can accommodate a number of people.

In the temple area, there are a pavilion for dharma practice and a high, lofty bell tower, which is the temple’s remarkable feature. There is also the Pratu Chumphon Arch that people walk through for a blessing and a stone space with many large and small rocks lying around.

As the temple is located among mixed deciduous forest, the atmosphere here is of a forest park where nature is still prominent. It is pleasant and cool thanks to a number of flora. There are also some pets which monks and nuns kept in the temple area.

Chaiyaphum Province, another travel destination on the edge of the northeastern plateau, is a land of beautiful Siam tulips and refreshing waterfalls during the rainy season.

Chaiyaphum is one of the provinces with largest forest area in the northeastern region. If you have a chance to visit Chaiyaphum Province during the upcoming holiday, make sure you include Wat Khao Pratu Chumphon in your trip.
