Currently renamed to Khao Tha Phet Wildlife Conservation Development and Promotion Station inside the development station It is a dry evergreen forest, mixed deciduous forest, with Takhian sand, Kolan, Krabok, Daeng Rattan. Surrounding the area is shady with many large trees. and can also find animals living in the station such as deer, wild boar, bulbul, carnivorous warbler, small warbler.
On the top of the mountain, you can see the surrounding scenery around Surat. and is the location of Phra That Si Surat under the Royal Patronage Built in 1957, it is the first sanctuary of the Don villagers. Later, the relic was damaged with a crack at the base. The relics were then demolished and rebuilt into a tall, slender shape that resembled a candle. It is a beautiful architecture.
