Later, Mr. Dusadee Banomyong, who is the heir of the leader of the Free Thai Movement, along with the group, proposed Change the name Bueng Kum Water Park is called "Seri Thai Park" to serve as a memorial to the Free Thai Movement. Its official opening ceremony was held on August 16, 1997, which would have been the 52nd anniversary of the end of World War II.
 
In August 1999, Bangkok joined with the project committee to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Pridi Banomyong, an elder statesman. Participated in the event "Thai Peace Day" is to commemorate the declaration of Thai peace on the 54th anniversary and to honor the Free Thai Movement that has made benefits to the nation.
