It is renowned for its detailed portrayal of stories from Thai classical literature, such as the "Ramayana." The performance involves intricate costumes and masks, along with traditional music and instruments. 2. Thai Traditional Massage - Inscribed in 2019 Thai traditional massage is an ancient healing art rooted in Thailand’s traditional medicine practices. It involves techniques of pressing, kneading, and stretching to promote physical and mental well-being. Recognized by UNESCO in 2019, Thai traditional massage is acknowledged for its contribution to health and wellness, representing a unique approach to holistic healing in a global context.

3. Nora - Inscribed in 2021 Nora is a traditional performing art from Southern Thailand that combines dance, music, and dramatic performances. This unique art form reflects the beliefs and creativity of the local communities in the South. The inscription of Nora in 2021 by UNESCO highlights its cultural significance and the distinctiveness of this traditional art form within Thai culture.

4. Songkran Festival - Inscribed in 2023 Songkran is Thailand’s traditional New Year festival celebrated with water-splashing, symbolizing cleansing and renewal. This lively festival includes various activities and has a unique charm in different provinces of Thailand. The recognition of Songkran in 2023 by UNESCO acknowledges its importance as a cultural event that connects communities and reflects the national identity.
