Wat Chantaram Worawihan It was originally called Wat Bang Yi Ruea Klang or Wat Klang is because it is in the middle between two temples, namely, Wat Bang Yi Ruea Nai (currently Wat Ratchagir) and Wat Intharam, that is, when the original city of Thonburi was in the period when Ayutthaya was the capital. Located at Wat Sala 4 Na (currently Wat Khuha Sawan) in Khlong Bangkok Yai. Whoever came from the old city first reached Rajgir Temple, so it was called Rajgir Temple. "Wat Bang Yi Ruea Nai, North" while Wat Chantaram is in the middle, so it is called "Bang Yi Ruea Temple in the North". "Bang Yi Ruea Klang Temple", next to Intharam Temple, is therefore called "Bang Yi Ruea Nok Temple (South)"
In ancient times, temples were not officially or officially named like in the present day. The name of the temple is called from the location of the sub-district in which it is located. And if the sub-district has many temples and are close to each other, which is an order which can be determined from the city as "inside", "middle" and "outside", then the temple will be called that. The closest temple is called "Wat Nai", the next temple is called "Wat Klang", and the last temple is called "Wat Nok", however that is understood according to the era or according to the location.
