History Nimmanhaemin Road is a significant economic artery in Chiang Mai, connecting the Rinkham intersection with Suthep Road. It was constructed in 1963, after Mr. Khee and Mrs. Kimhor Nimmanhemin donated land to the Thai government for the establishment of Chiang Mai University.
