Koh Tan Located at Village No. 2, Taling Ngam Subdistrict, Southern part of Koh Samui. It is a beautiful island with peaceful nature. Long, coconut-lined beaches On the east side of the island is a long beach parallel to the coastal coral reef called Ao Og, while the west side is a closed bay. There is not much mangrove forest and a rocky beach called Ao Tok. It has coral reefs and a relatively intact coastline.

Interesting thing There are no dogs on this island. There are many assumptions, whether it is a sacred island. Or the satyr doesn't want a dog. Or scientific explanations, such as Koh Tan, there are sound waves, magnetic fields or some pathogens that are harmful to dogs, etc. until no one dares to bring dogs to try to raise Because no dog has ever survived.

In addition, nearby islands such as Koh Madsum, Koh Mod Daeng have beautiful shallow coral reefs that can be snorkeled. There are accommodations on the island in addition to the abundance of forests and nature on the island. Koh Taen also has 4 nature trails. Every route tourists will see the difference in the terrain and the way of life of the Koh Taen people. Especially the first 3 routes will meet various bird species that live on Koh Taen.
