Wat Khuean Daeng "Wat Sri Suwan or Wat Khuean Daeng" because this place used to be the location of the Nakhon Sawan military camp before when King Rama V visited the beginning of Nakhon Sawan on August 29, R.E. 125 (1906).

The importance of this place is very interesting because it is the old city of Sawan by "Prince Jiraprawat" who is the son of King Rama V. He has military abilities and was sent to study military subjects abroad.

 

And in those days, he was the first army chief of staff. Later, the former Nakhon Sawan military barracks was moved to the east bank of the Chao Phraya River in 1942 to honor King Chiraprawat. hence the name "Jiraprawat Camp" until the present.
