Wat Borom Phuttharam Within the area of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Built in the reign of King Petracha Around 1788-2203 in the area of Patong, which was his former residence. The location of the temple was limited by ancient transport routes.
The east side is the Chakrai Noi canal line. On the west side is a royal road known as Maharataya Road or Patong Road. Such roads and canals forced the layout of the temple to align north and south. by facing the temple to the north This temple is different from other temples in that His Highness ordered to make yellow glazed tiles to cover the roof of the Ubosot, Wihan, and the Worship Hall. and used to decorate pagodas and arches.
Therefore, it is called another name. "Temple of Porcelain Tiles", which took 2 years to complete the construction. In the reign of King Borom Som, the urn ordered a major renovation of this temple and made 3 pairs of beautiful pearl doors.
A couple is at the Monthian Tham Hall in the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. One couple was at Wat Benchamabophit, Dusit Wanaram. and the other pair had cut to make a bookcase which is now on display at the National Museum, Bangkok, Bangkok.
How to get there: If coming from Bangkok using the Asian Road (Highway No. 32), turn left at the intersection into Ayutthaya. Go straight through the Nasuan Bridge, follow Rojana Road until the end of the road and turn left. Wat Borom Phuttharam will be on the left hand side.
