Wat Tha Karong Located on the Chao Phraya River It is an old temple in the Ayutthaya period. Historically, it was said that it was built in the early Ayutthaya period. In addition, before Ayutthaya lost the city, this area used to be the camp of the great generals of Burma, namely Nemyo Si Ho.

 

At present, there are still many architectures of the Ayutthaya period, including Teak pavilion along the Chao Phraya River, the Ubosot enshrined Phra Phuttha Rattanamongkol or Luang Por Yim. In addition, Wat Tha Karong has also won the first prize in the clean toilet category from the Ministry of Public Health.

 

Wat Tha Karong Floating Market Because Wat Tha Ka Rong is adjacent to the Chao Phraya River. The temple has landscaped in front of a floating market with a variety of sweet and savory foods for tourists to buy and eat.
