Hup Sapu Waterfall Sam Phraya, Cha Am, Phetchaburi. A small waterfall is beautiful in the rainy season.
Hup Sabu Waterfall is located in the Tung Faek Valley. This mountain is a conservation tourist attraction located in the west of Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. Tung Faek is a flat mountain in the Phra Rop Mountain Range, surrounded by large and small mountains. The plain is covered with vetiver grass, which locals call “Tung Faek Valley.” It is approximately 500 meters above ground level and covers an area of approximately 2,000 rai.
There are many species of trees, such as Makha, Rang, Takian, Paduak, Teng, Tabek, Nuan bamboo, and many other species. There are various ground cover plants and many herbs. In addition, there are many wild animals, such as sand deer, tigers, leopards, mouse deer, wild boars, jungle fowls, gorals, and many birds. The highlight is the wide open space in the middle of the valley, which is a type of herbaceous plant called “Kra Chiew.” However, the Kra Chiew trees in this valley are short-stemmed, unlike the Kra Chiew flowers in Chaiyaphum.
In addition to the beauty of the Kra Chiew flowers growing in this valley, In the middle of the forest, there is a shady nature, suitable for walking in the forest. There is a stone cliff or what the locals call "Pha Dam" which is a beautiful viewpoint. You can see the long stretch of the sea as a wide angle. In addition, there is Hub Sab Waterfall, a not very high waterfall. The water that falls down flows from a small stream in the Tung Faek Valley. It is a stream that nourishes life in the forest all year round because there are stone dams built at intervals along the water flowing through.
Getting to Hup Sab Waterfall is not difficult. Start from Phetkasem Road at Huai Ta Paet Intersection (take the way to the Chang Hua Man Project). Go straight for about 7 kilometers and you will reach the entrance to Hub Sab Waterfall and the route to see the wild ginger flowers. In addition, the route from the main road to Hub Sab Waterfall is popular with those who love cycling. It has beautiful, shady nature and not many cars. It also passes many tourist attractions where you can stop and enjoy the view, such as Phu Wai Reservoir, Huai Ta Paet Reservoir, Somdech Phra Srinakarin Park, etc.
