Bang Khla Floating Market is one of the most well-known markets of Bang Khla District, Chanchoengsao. The food stalls are placed on the barges that stretch out to Bang Pakong River.
There are a variety of food and souvenirs selling on boats along the river and somehow these stuffs can reflect the integration between traditional Thai and contemporary one.

Bang Khla Floating Market was initiate by the will of board of directors that wanted to promote the tourism and at the same time to boost the monetary circulation among community.
Moreover, Bang Khla municipality has been preparing the training program for the locals such as massage training course, cooking and baking course, etc. These training programs can practically integrated and make use of it in real life.
You can spot a spectacular view along Bang Pakong River at Bang Khla Floating Market. The nature nearby the river is beautiful yet plentifully. Visitors will encounter the mangrove forest which is a shelter for shrimps, fish and plants as well as will spot the lifestyle of villagers who live along the river.
Besides, the boat ride from Bang Pakong River to Koh Lad is provided here. The ride would take you two hours with the charge of 300 baht.

Bang Khla floating market only opens on weekend and every public holiday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
