Khwaeng Phao Bay (Thong Tapao Bay) or formerly known as Ao Thong Tapao It is another bay that is naturally beautiful. There are many beautiful perspectives. Fine white sandy beach, flanked by medium-sized mountains, crystal clear waters, sea views overlooking the islands. such as Koh Wang Nok, Koh Wang Nai and Koh Samui, above the beach is a coconut plantation.
 
And there is a public park built by the Thong Nien Subdistrict Administrative Organization. for a place to relax And tourists can do various activities along the beach. Ao Khwaeng Phao used to be a ferry terminal. Khanom-Koh Samui of the Ferry Line
 
Currently obsolete There is a group of fishermen named "Love Hometown Group" provides tourists with tours to Khanom sea, dolphin watching and various islands. From Ao Khwaeng Phao, there is a junction to Ao Thong Ching which is famous as another very beautiful bay
 
How to get there: From Highway 401 (Surat-Nakhon Si) to Khlong Leng Intersection (There is a dolphin statue clearly visible) Turn left onto Highway 4014, which is the route to Khanom town.
 
When entering Khanom city area at the intersection market Turn left into Khanom town. through the duties of the district office Bang Nod Market crosses the bridge over the Khanom Canal until reaching Ban Bang Phaeng Intersection. Turn left onto Highway No. 4044 (Ban Nam Cha - Ban Bang Phaeng). Follow this route for about 7.3 km. to the junction of the old ferry port, turn right and go straight for about 1.7 km. to reach Ao Khwaeng Phao.
