Wat Si Sawan Sangkharam (Wat Thue Nam), an old historic temple , is about 4 kilometers from the city of Nakhon Sawan, towards the Chiraprawat Military Camp. It used to be the site for the government officers to pledge allegiance to the king.
Inside there are ancient spear blades, oars, knives and swords including a gold Buddha image in the position of his first sermon and a silver Buddha image. The main Buddha in the Ubosot is over a hundred years old.
In 1976 H.M. King Bhumibhol and H.M. Queen Sirikit came to cut the Luk Nimit - round stones buried under the ground to designate the sacred limits of the temple – in the new Ubosot.
