Phaya Phukha expanded the territory by sending two adopted sons. namely Khun Noon and Khun Fong to build a new city.

 

The elder Khun Noon went to build Luang Prabang. As for Khun Fong, the younger man went to build Wora Nakhon or Muang Pua. This was the time that clearly began the history of Nan in both inscriptions and chronicles.
