Royal Initiative Agricultural Development Station (Phu Phayak) Formerly known as Phu Pha Yak, on the top of the mountain is a beautiful rocky cliff. It is an evergreen forest and a grove of tigers. Therefore, it is called Phu Phayak. It is about 1,500 meters above sea level. It used to be an opium-growing area for hill tribe people. Before 1980, it was a battlefield. between Thai soldiers and communist terrorists.

 

Currently, Phu Phayak has changed from a battlefield. The bomb trap is Royal Initiative Agricultural Development Station Develop the hill tribe people to have consciousness and participate in rehabilitation. Develop and conserve natural resources and the environment to be the source of watersheds with complete forest quality.

 

Developed as an eco-tourism attraction Create jobs and generate income for people in the area as a model station for expanding agricultural products. There are 2 routes to travel: the first route from Nan Province to Chaloem Phrakiat District to Phu Phayak, a distance of about 180 kilometers; the second route. from Nan Province Go to Bo Kluea District to Phu Phayak, a distance of about 230 kilometers.

 

Phu Phayak has a guest house. with bedding For tourists, 2 houses can accommodate 24 tourists, and have a camping site and 2 sleeping tents.
