City Pillar Shrineis located in front of the City Hall to the southwest. There are three city pillars made of teakwood. It was surmised that they were built more than 100 years ago; the first pillar in around 1857, the second in 1873, and the third in 1886. In 1897, the construction of the City Hall was completed and the city pillars were moved to the present location.

Then, a mondop (spired square building) was built in 1968 to house the three city pillars. The shrine is open daily from 6.30 a.m.-5.00 p.m.
