Wat Phanitaram It is a temple built in 1904, located next to the Bang Pakong River. There is an annual event every year. It is a model development temple and provides convenience to all agencies that request to use the place for training. It is a temple of the people under the Mahanikaya sect, located in Bang Krut Subdistrict, Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province. The temple has an area of ​​5 rai 99 square wa.

 

Wat Phanitaram was established in 1904 and received the royal charter of the boundary of the temple on April 26, 1980. The temple is located on the right bank of the Bang Pakong River at the bend of the river. Originally called Ban Bang Fue, the original location was the land of Mr. Suea and Mrs. Pin (last name unknown), who were the initiators of Wat Phanitaram, namely Ms. Phum Phumtrakul and Mrs. Phueng Watanasin. They negotiated to buy the land, which was 5 rai and 99 square wa, for 3 chang (or 240 baht). Mr. Suea and Mrs. Pin agreed to sell the land.

 

Wat Phanitaram has a sala, an old teakwood building over 100 years old, and a wooden bell tower. Wat Phanitaram is a center for developing minds in honor of His Majesty the King and is the 5th meditation center for Chachoengsao Province. The temple organizes Vipassana meditation training for the general public and youth every year. It uses the curriculum for developing minds to create wisdom and peace from Mother Siri Krinchai. It has been selected as a model development temple.

 

Wat Phanitaram is the 5th meditation center for Chachoengsao Province. It provides knowledge of Buddhism and the importance of Vipassana meditation. The current Vipassana Meditation Training Project, in addition to the course on developing the mind to gain wisdom and peace by Mother Siri Krinchai, also has special meditation courses and courses for youth, basic courses on Vipassana Meditation practice organized for educational institutions, government agencies, and interested persons regularly throughout the year. This is to support people in various groups appropriately and to be a guideline for developing the mind to gain wisdom, leading peaceful thoughts to oneself and society and the country.
