Wat Saman Rattanaram Bang Kaeo, Muang Chachoengsao, Chachoengsao. Located along Bang Pakong River. The temple is Lord Ganesha, the largest in Thailand.
Inside the temple, there is the largest reclining Ganesha statue in Thailand, measuring 16 meters high and 14 meters wide. It is pink and sits half-lying on its side on a pedestal. Its left hand holds a broken tusk and its right hand holds a lotus flower. Around the base, there are 32 Ganesha statues along the Bang Pakong River. There are 3 districts where you can see them: Bang Khla, Mueang, and Khlong Khuen.
Wat Saman Rattanaram also has two very important Buddha statues. The first is the principal Buddha statue in the ordination hall in the Mara-Vijaya posture (Luang Pho To), which is over 120 years old. It is one of the sacred Buddha statues of the sub-district and district, and is highly revered by the general public.
Generally, the second is the principal Buddha statue in front of the temple, enshrined on the bank of the Bang Pakong River in front of the temple. It is the largest Buddha statue in the Bang Pakong River basin. His Holiness Somdej Phra Nyanasamvara, Somdej Phra Sangkharach Sakol Sanghaparinayok, gave the name Phra Phuttha Maha Karuna Khun Prasit. and gave 9 relics of the Lord Buddha to be placed on the top of the head.
