The name of this temple came from name of village in China. The temple was established as the art of Thai Lhur, the board in temple has both Thai and Chinese language and assumes
 
that the temple was established in era of early Rattanakosin. The roof of temple was wooden, carving as Dheva, ladder with the statue of naga, the gate has the statue of lion,
 
included mural painting. Within temple describes the lifestyle of Thai Lhur, priesthood, merit, water pouring in Songkran Festival and other traditional. Moreover, there is flag (Tung)
 
 
hanging because believe that lead the dead persons can go to the route of paradise. The origin of Thai Lhue was in Sibsong Punna (in China) and had contact with Lanna for long time which
 
lead the combination of culture and language, most Thai Lhue lived in river of the northern, i.e. Narn, Chiangrai, Chiangmai, Lampang and Phayao in Amphoe Chiang Kham. There is cultural
 
hall in Wat Yuan which is far from Wat San Muang Ma for 500 meters, within the hall has presented the origin of Thai Lhue. Wat San Muang Ma located in Ban Mang, Tambon Yuan, Amphoe Chiang Kham near Chiang Kham transport station.
