Wat Nong Song Hong  is a public temple under the Maha Nikaya sect, located in Nong Song Hong Subdistrict, Ban Phaeo District, Samut Sakhon Province. The temple covers an area of 35 rai, 2 ngan, and 38 square wah. It was established in 1926 (B.E. 2469) by Phra Khru Sangwan Sudapirat in collaboration with local villagers to create a place for monks to reside and perform religious ceremonies.
 
Since its establishment, Wat Nong Song Hong has undergone continuous development and restoration. In 1937 (B.E. 2480), the temple opened a monastic school for the study of Buddhist teachings, providing education to monks and novices. This initiative reflects the temple’s dedication to fostering religious and educational growth within the community.
 
Notable Structures and Sacred Objects Wat Nong Song Hong houses several significant religious structures, including: The Ubosot (Ordination Hall): Constructed in 1974 (B.E. 2517), it measures 25 meters in width and 42.3 meters in length. Inside, a principal Buddha image is enshrined, accompanied by statues of Phra Mokkalana and Phra Sariputta. The Sermon Hall: Built in 1993 (B.E. 2536), this large wooden structure serves as a key venue for community gatherings and religious teachings. Monastic Residences: Three wooden monks' quarters, constructed in 1952 (B.E. 2495). Luang Pho Sila: A revered stone Buddha image, previously enshrined alongside Luang Pho To at Wat Lak Si Rat Samoson before being moved to Wat Nong Song Hong.
