Khao Ngum Cave Opposite the entrance to Phung Chang Cave Inside there are beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. And on one side of the cave, there were many shells attached to the mountain. (Currently almost deserted lacking some maintenance) It is a small cave, not deep.
Phung Chang Cave is inside Wat Praphat Prachimkhet. Behind Phang Nga City Hall, the condition inside the cave has beautiful stalagmites and stalactites with streams flowing all year round.
How to get there: Away from Ban Khor Sor Phang Nga along Petchkasem Road The distance is about 2 km. There are minibuses passing through. or away from the junction to Phuket, a distance of 700 meters
Heavenly Hermit Cave and Scout Cave in Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Park On Petchkasem Road, opposite the City Hall It is a cave that can penetrate each other with the Heavenly Hermit Cave in front. Inside the cave there are clear streams and stalagmites and stalactites. In front of the cave is a public park.
Nang Manora Forest Park or Sa Nang Manora Waterfall Take the Phang Nga-Krabi route. (National Highway No. 4) for 3 kilometers, then turn right next to the Electricity Generating Station for another 3 kilometers to the waterfall stream general condition a shady forest There is a waterfall caused by streams flowing from the mountainside into a large basin all year round.
Ao Phang Nga National Park in Muang District and Takua Thung District Covering an area of 250,000 rai, it was declared a national park area on April 29, 1981. To travel, take Highway No. 4, heading south to Khok Kloi Sub-district, about 8 kilometers from the city, turn left onto Highway 4144 for another 4 kilometers to the park office.
There are many rental places for boat tours in Phang Nga Bay as follows:
- Customs Pier near Phang Nga Bay Resort Hotel.
- Surakul Pier or Krasom Pier in Takua Thung District It is a long-tail boat with a capacity of 6-8 people, about 800 baht per trip.
- Pier in Ang Phang Nga National Park It is a long-tail boat with a capacity of 8 people each.
Traveling to visit Ao Phang Nga National Park generally takes about 3 hours, where the boat will take a tour to Koh Panyee, Khao Phing Kan, Koh Tapu, Lod Cave, Koh Hong or other nearby attractions, depending on the boat tour.
