Khao Kho Sacrifice Memorial On top of the mountain peak of Khao Kho Located 1 kilometer beyond Than Itthi, it was built to honor the heroism of civilians, police, soldiers, who sacrificed their lives in the battle to protect the area in the border areas of 3 provinces: Phitsanulok, Phetchabun and Loei from 1968-1982. Built of marble as The 24 meter tall triangle represents a joint operation between civilians, police and military in 1981.

 

The walls inside record the history of the monuments and the names of the heroes who sacrificed as well. To get there, take Highway No. 2196 until the 28th kilometer a little. There is a right junction along Route 2323 for about 3 kilometers, a total distance of approximately 31 kilometers.
